Rosemount Museum, Victorian mansion museum in Pueblo, United States
Rosemount Museum is a stone mansion in Pueblo, Colorado, containing 37 rooms filled with original furnishings and decorative arts from the 1890s. Each space shows how a wealthy family lived during that period, from parlors to bedrooms to service areas.
New York architect Henry Hudson Holly designed this residence in 1893 for the Thatcher family. The family lived there for multiple generations, making it their home for much of the twentieth century.
Regular guided tours demonstrate the Victorian lifestyle through preserved furniture, clothing, and household items from the late nineteenth century.
You can walk through the rooms at your own pace, but guided tours provide deeper insights into how each space was used. Plan your visit for quieter hours to fully absorb the details of the house and its contents.
The property includes a separate carriage house that now hosts private events accommodating up to 60 guests. The front veranda of the main building serves as a popular backdrop for wedding ceremonies.
