The Two Harbors Breakwater Light features a square pyramidal skeleton design with white paint and an octagonal lantern at its peak.
The lighthouse construction in 1906 marked a significant improvement from the original 1895 iron post light that guided vessels through Lake Superior.

Located at the end of an accessible breakwater, the lighthouse emits a red flash every six seconds with a visual range of nine nautical miles.
The structure combines both illumination and fog signal functions, featuring an electric diaphragm horn that replaced the original clockwork-powered bell.
