Cira Centre

Cira Centre is an office tower in Philadelphia that rises above the railroad tracks of 30th Street Station. The 29-story building spans across the railway lines, creating a continuous structure that links the platforms with street level.

Construction started in the early 2000s as part of redevelopment around the train station. Architect César Pelli designed the building to reshape the area near this major transportation hub.

The building includes a LED lighting system on its facade that transforms the Philadelphia skyline with various patterns and color combinations.

The building is easy to reach because it connects directly with public transit and train platforms. Multiple elevators provide quick access to different levels throughout the structure.

The glass facade of the building reflects light differently depending on the time of day and viewing angle. This optical effect comes from the specially angled surfaces of the glass panels.
