South Cape Beach State Park

South Cape Beach State Park extends across 460 acres of white sand beaches, salt marshes, and pitch pine woodlands along the Massachusetts coast.

The Department of Conservation and Recreation established this protected area as part of the Waquoit Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve.

Summer educational programs at the park focus on teaching visitors about local ecosystems, marine life, and coastal environmental conservation.
