St. Georg, Catholic church building in Ingoldingen, Germany
The church features a Gothic Revival style nave designed by Joseph Cades, with a tower on the north wall and a choir ending in a five-eighths closure.
The church combines elements from different periods, including a medieval tower from the 12th century and a baroque nave constructed between 1711 and 1713.
The interior houses religious artworks, including a high altar created by Eustachius Gabriel in 1765 and a wooden statue of Mary by Niklaus Weckmann.
The building underwent extensive renovations from 1989 to 1993, receiving new ceiling paintings, wall coatings, and modern electrical installations.
A grey Tyrolean sandstone sculpture of Saint George was installed in the western gable niche on October 18, 1990.
