Malling Vandtårn, Water tower in Malling, Denmark

The Malling Vandtårn extends 12 meters into the sky with its rounded structure and features a staircase leading to the water reservoir at the top.

Constructed in 1922, the water tower supplied water to 150 households in the Malling area until its decommissioning in 1958.

In 2005, the tower became the subject of a painting by parliament member Eyvind Vesselbo, displayed at the Aarhus Town Hall exhibition.

The tower functioned as a pressure equalizer in the water supply system and now stands in the private garden of a residential property.

Television personality Jacob Haugaard owned the tower in 1983 and used it as a broadcasting location, bringing media attention to Malling village.
