Seville Maritime Museum

The Seville Maritime Museum occupies the medieval Torre del Oro, a hexagonal tower overlooking the Guadalquivir River that contains ship models, navigation tools, and seafaring objects. The tower spans multiple levels where collections are arranged to show the development of maritime technology and port life.

The tower was built in the 12th century as a fortification and watchtower along the river. A museum was later established inside to preserve the city's maritime past.
