The project originated from an earlier proposal called Eclipse which originally planned a 22-story brick tower with 263 apartments. The redesign transformed the concept into the current glass-clad structure with modified specifications.
The building represents a shift in Sheffield's urban development, introducing contemporary residential spaces in the traditional industrial city center.
