Santuario di San Nicodemo

The Santuario di San Nicodemo is a shrine located on the Limina plateau at over 700 meters elevation, constructed with Byzantine architectural features and three east-facing apses. The structure displays design elements typical of early religious buildings in the region, reflecting traditional forms of sanctuary construction.

The sanctuary emerged in a region with deep religious roots and later became a repository for important relics. In the early 1500s, it received significant relics following an earthquake that affected neighboring religious sites.
