Burton upon Trent War Memorial, War memorial in Burton upon Trent, England.
The memorial features a bronze figure of Victory standing 2.25 meters tall, holding a downward-pointing sword and a laurel wreath on a Portland stone pedestal.
The memorial was unveiled on August 2, 1922, by William Legge, 6th Earl of Dartmouth, following a public subscription that raised over 22,000 pounds for its construction.
The bronze plaques on the pedestal contain inscriptions commemorating the officers, non-commissioned officers, and local men who died during both World Wars.
The monument stands in Memorial Gardens off Lichfield Street, in front of Burton & South Derbyshire College, at coordinates 52.800414 latitude and -1.631006 longitude.
The pedestal measures 5.5 meters in height and includes carved representations of cherubs with winged helmets at its top corners.
