Hakuhinkan Theater

Hakuhinkan Theater sits on the eighth floor of a toy store and holds around 381 seats positioned close to the stage. The compact layout creates an immediate connection between audience members and performers.

The theater opened in 1978 and helped introduce musical theater to Japan during a time when the genre was still uncommon. It became known as a place for innovative performances in the capital.
