Kanze Noh Theater

Kanze Noh Theater is located on the third basement level of the GINZA SIX shopping complex, featuring a stage designed for classical Japanese performances with 480 seats. The venue combines traditional theater design with modern facilities to accommodate audiences for each show.

The theater relocated from the Shoto district in 2015 and opened its new space in Ginza on April 20, 2017. This move represented a transition for the long-established institution into a new chapter of its operations.

The venue hosts classical Noh drama performances where masked actors blend dance, music, and poetry to tell stories rooted in Japanese literature and mythology. These shows represent a theatrical tradition that has been central to Japanese artistic life for generations.

The theater is accessible through the GINZA SIX shopping center, which is well served by public transportation. It is helpful to check performance schedules beforehand, as timing varies by season.

The theater includes a separate lobby area that can be used for cultural gatherings and events with up to 110 people. This space allows for smaller meetings alongside the main stage productions.
