Howgills, Quaker meeting house in Letchworth Garden City, England.

The building features a wood-paneled central meeting room with a gallery, stone-surrounded windows with leaded lights, and tall brick chimney stacks.

Built in 1907 by architects Robert Bennett and Benjamin Wilson Bidwell, Howgills was commissioned by Juliet Reckitt who donated it to the Quakers in 1913.

The meeting house maintains regular Sunday gatherings at 10:30 AM, providing a space for worship according to Quaker principles of simplicity and equality.

Located at 42 South View, the building offers wheelchair access, accessible toilets, and hearing loop facilities for visitors with mobility or hearing needs.

The carved timber inscriptions over the entrance hall and meeting room fireplaces represent early work by renowned artist Eric Gill.
