The Belvedere Park extends over five hectares at an elevation of 56 meters, featuring walking paths along the Lérez River and community gardens.
The park grounds were part of a 70-hectare estate owned by Casimiro Gómez in the early 1900s, who established the Lérez Spa there in 1906.
The park serves as a central meeting point for Monte Porreiro residents, with annual celebrations in May honoring the Good Shepherd patron saint.
Regular maintenance by cleaning brigades ensures the 50,000 square meters of parkland remain in proper condition for daily recreational activities.
The park includes one of the first tennis courts built in Galicia, installed during the experimental farming period of the former estate.
