The Pazo of Mugartegui features an elaborate stone facade with seven arches supported by Tuscan columns and a central balcony with ornamental details.
Master stonemason Pedro Antonio Ferreiro constructed this noble residence in 1771 for José Manuel Valladares y Figueroa on the site of a former house.
The building now functions as the headquarters of the Regulatory Council of the Rías Baixas Designation of Origin and contains a wine museum.
The main hall of the pazo opens for cultural activities, public events, and ceremonies, including traditional wedding celebrations throughout the year.
A sundial positioned above the coat of arms, installed in 1773, marks the passage of time on the front facade of this baroque mansion.
