Lousehill Copse is a woodland covering around 13 hectares with mature oak and hazel trees mixed throughout. Walking paths cross through the reserve, and a small pond sits within the forest providing water for wildlife.
The woodland has existed for over 300 years and was formally designated as a Local Nature Reserve in 1992. This protection status ensures the forest and its wildlife remain safeguarded.
