Lousehill Copse, Local nature reserve in Tilehurst, Reading, England.
The 13-hectare woodland contains mature oak and hazel trees, with a pond providing habitat for numerous bird species and small mammals.
The woodland dates back over 300 years and received its designation as a Local Nature Reserve in 1992 under Reading Borough Council management.
The reserve forms part of West Reading Woodlands alongside Blundells Copse and McIlroy Park, offering recreational paths for local communities.
Visitors can access multiple walking trails through the reserve, which includes a children's play area and connects to surrounding residential neighborhoods.
The northern section, known as Comparts Plantation, features an elevated grassy meadow with gorse and broom growing on its upper sections.
