Bloomberg London, Office building in City of London, United Kingdom.
Bloomberg London comprises two connected buildings joined by a covered arcade offering roughly one million square feet of office space. The structures integrate an entrance to Bank Underground station and provide workspaces with height-adjustable desks for the occupants.
Archaeological digs from 2012 to 2014 uncovered over 400 fragments of Roman writing tablets, including the earliest known reference to London. These discoveries reveal the deep Roman heritage beneath the modern cityscape.
The Bloomberg Space inside displays rotating exhibitions featuring contemporary artworks and ancient Roman objects. Visitors can walk in freely to see how art and archaeology are presented side by side.
Access to the Bloomberg Space and museum is available from outside without needing to enter the office building itself. Check opening times in advance and allow enough time to view the exhibitions properly.
Seven meters underground lies the London Mithraeum museum, housing remains of a Roman temple and one of the city's most remarkable archaeological collections. This hidden chamber reveals layers of history directly beneath the busy modern street.

Norman Foster has shaped contemporary architecture through technical innovation and design clarity. His buildings feature extensive glass facades, exposed steel structures and energy systems. The Reichstag dome in Berlin with its spiral ramp and the circular Apple Park in Cupertino demonstrate his approach to combining function with geometric form. In London, Foster created several landmarks that define the city's modern skyline. The tower at 30 St Mary Axe, known as the "Gherkin" for its distinctive shape, rises above the financial district. The Millennium Bridge connects the Tate Modern to St Paul's Cathedral as a slender pedestrian crossing. His portfolio includes airport terminals, office towers and cultural buildings across multiple countries, documenting his influence on international construction.
