Newcastle University Students' Union

Newcastle University Students' Union is a neo-Jacobean building designed by Robert Burns Dick in 1924 that occupies a central location on campus. Inside it houses a bar, several food areas, a large event venue, and office spaces for student organizations and clubs.

The building was completed and opened in 1925 following a donation from Sir Cecil Cochrane, who remained an anonymous benefactor during the opening ceremony. This timing marked an important moment when the university was expanding its campus facilities.
