Högevallsbadet, Aquatic complex in Lund, Sweden
The Högevallsbadet facility contains multiple swimming areas including a 50-meter training pool, a competition pool with a 10-meter diving platform, and two teaching pools.
The current Högevallsbadet opened in 1980, replacing the previous public bath facility that closed in the 1970s due to structural steel beam deterioration.
The swimming complex continues a centuries-old tradition of public bathing in Lund, dating back to the first documented bathhouse in 1269.
The reception operates from 7 AM to 8 PM on weekdays and 8 AM to 6 PM during weekends, with early morning hours reserved for lap swimming.
The facility underwent a major renovation between 2011 and 2013 to incorporate modern water activities and updated technical systems throughout the complex.
