The largest park in Lund spans across multiple sections, featuring 650 trees of various species and extensive gardens with 7,000 perennial plants.

The park originated from medieval city ramparts in the 1800s and transformed into a public space following the Great Exhibition of Lund in 1904.

Several garden styles merge in the park design, combining French formal layouts in central areas with German precision and English landscape arrangements.

Visitors can access multiple sports facilities including a 1,500-square-meter skate park, beach volleyball courts, running trails, and dedicated exercise areas.

The northern entrance displays a specialized perennial garden containing 70 different plant species arranged in geometric patterns throughout the space.
