Rondinara Beach, Mediterranean beach in Bonifacio, France

Rondinara Beach is a seashell-shaped bay along the Mediterranean coast in Bonifacio with clear, gently sloping waters. Rocky outcrops and dense scrubland frame the shoreline, creating a sheltered swimming area.

The bay formed through sea currents that shaped its structure and connected a southern island to the mainland. This geological process created the distinctive configuration visitors see today.

The beach sits within the Bouches de Bonifacio Nature Reserve, playing a role in protecting diverse marine species. The coastal landscape preserves traditional Corsican Mediterranean character and is valued by local communities as an important natural space.

The beach is easily accessible from the main parking area and offers a restaurant, rental services, and shower facilities. Lifeguard coverage varies seasonally, so it's worth checking conditions before your visit.

Local livestock grazes near the water's edge on a regular basis, creating an unexpected blend of pastoral and coastal landscapes. This peaceful coexistence reflects the traditional way the surrounding area is managed.
