Beaches Sant'Amanza, Sandy beach in Bonifacio, France

Beaches Sant'Amanza is a curved cove with fine sand and turquoise water on Corsica's southern coast near Bonifacio. Pinewood forests frame the shore and create several small, sheltered swimming spots throughout the bay.

During World War II, the coast was a key strategic location, and old fortifications remain visible in the hills behind the bay. The area played a role in the island's defense history as part of its maritime protection.

The bay serves as a gathering place for locals, especially in the evening when people stroll along the shore and watch the water. The connection to the sea shapes the rhythm of life for those living nearby.

The beach is easy to reach with free parking available near the main access point. Equipment rental is available on-site if you want to try water sports or explore the water safely.

Wind conditions here are exceptional, making it a favorite spot for windsurfers traveling from around the region. Many return specifically because of these unusual conditions that occur throughout the year.
