Budd Dairy Food Hall, Food court in Italian Village, Columbus, United States
Budd Dairy Food Hall is a three-level food center with nine kitchens where different chefs prepare their dishes. A rooftop bar offers city views, and the various floors provide different dining options and spaces.
The building was constructed in 1916 as a dairy processing facility capable of handling 14,000 gallons daily. In 2021, it was transformed into a modern food hall.
It serves as a platform for local chefs to test and develop their culinary concepts through rotating kitchen spaces. The changing vendors and pop-up dining experiences allow visitors to discover new flavors with each visit.
Visitors can order from multiple vendors using mobile devices and receive notifications when their food is ready for pickup at designated stations. The layout makes it easy to find seating across different floors while waiting for orders.
The interior preserves original white enamel bricks while the exterior retains red pressed brick from its industrial past. This blend of historic structure and contemporary dining makes it a distinctive place to experience.
