Imagine That!!!
Imagine That!!! is a large indoor play center for children in Florham Park with bright, open spaces that are easy to navigate. The facility offers more than 20 different play areas, including a multi-story climbing structure with slides, arts and crafts stations, a music room, a pretend grocery store, a fire truck, and various hands-on activity zones designed for different age groups.
The center was founded about 20 years ago as a safe place where children could play and learn together, and has since become an established community resource. In recent years, it underwent renovation updating most exhibits and spaces, while retaining original features like the fire truck as part of its character.
The place encourages children to use their imagination and creativity through building, creating, and pretend play in various themed areas. Families regularly gather here for birthday parties and celebrations, making it part of local community events where children explore different roles and express themselves freely.
The center opens Tuesday through Sunday, typically from 10 am to 4:30 pm on weekdays and later on weekends, making it accessible for families with various schedules. The entire facility is on one level with a single entrance, easy navigation, and welcoming for children with mobility needs, plus an on-site cafe offering kid-friendly snacks and drinks.
The center hosts a robotics program called RoboThink where children can learn to build robots and even create video games, introducing them to science and engineering. These classes and camps are popular with families and help children develop problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
