Πιάτσα Καλαμάκι Χαλανδρίου, Greek burger restaurant in Chalandri, North Athens, Greece
Piatsa Burger Corner, also known as Πιάτσα Καλαμάκι Χαλανδρίου, is a burger restaurant in the Chalandri district of Athens, Greece. Each burger is made by hand with fresh vegetables and house-made sauces that guests can choose to combine as they like.
The restaurant started as a single location in Nea Smyrni before opening a branch in Chalandri. Over time, it has added more locations across the city.
The restaurant received a Gold Award for quality and taste at the Estiatoria Premium Awards in 2018, chosen by public vote. This kind of recognition from regular diners says something about how the place is regarded in the local food scene.
The restaurant has seating both inside and outside, so you can choose depending on the weather or your preference. Food can also be ordered for takeout or delivery if you prefer to eat elsewhere.
Burgers here come on one of three types of bread: brioche, standard white, or black buns made with activated charcoal. The charcoal buns give the burger a dark color that makes it look noticeably different from a classic version.
