Athens Olympic Tennis Centre Main Court

The Main Court features a DecoTurf cushioned acrylic surface and contains five separate entrances for athletes, officials, media personnel, and visitors at ground level.

Construction of the tennis facility reached completion in February 2004, followed by an official inauguration ceremony on August 2nd before the Summer Olympic Games.

The stadium maintains international tennis standards while incorporating Greek architectural elements through its modern design and functional organization of spectator areas.

The venue includes specialized facilities such as physiotherapy rooms, racquet maintenance areas, press conference spaces, and dedicated areas for athletes and tournament officials.

The stadium's seating arrangement places spectators at an extended distance from the court, creating a different spatial configuration compared to other major tennis venues.
