La Petite Grange

La Petite Grange is a restaurant in Tournemire housed in a restored building with a modern dining room overlooking the Doire valley and Château d'Anjony. The structure keeps its original character while the interior spaces have been adapted for contemporary dining.

The building underwent complete restoration to preserve its original structure while meeting contemporary needs. This work allowed the house to function as a modern restaurant while retaining its historic character.

The chefs Olivier Cloteau and Xavier Taffart work with regional products and create dishes that blend classical French cooking traditions with contemporary approaches. Their kitchen shows a connection to the landscape and what grows nearby.

The restaurant is open Monday through Wednesday and on weekends, with lunch service starting at noon and dinner service until 11:00 PM. It is advisable to check opening hours before visiting and to make a reservation.

The restaurant earned recognition from Gault&Millau with a 12/20 rating for its creative preparations of local specialties like hay-smoked cantal fritter. This acknowledgment reflects the team's inventive approach to working with regional ingredients.
