Daroco 16, Italian restaurant in west Paris, France
Daroco 16 is an Italian restaurant in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, located next to Maison de la Radio. The facade features a blue exterior with prominent neon signage visible from the street.
The restaurant was founded by three Parisian restaurant professionals: Alexandre Giesbert, Julien Ross, and Romain Glize. They brought their Italian dining concept to the western part of the city.
The interior design combines brass, marble, and black granite elements around the open kitchen. Artists Supakitch and Koralie created a mural that adds a local artistic touch to the space.
The restaurant serves traditional Italian dishes including antipasti, handmade pasta, and pizzas prepared by chef Federico Schiavon. Visitors should allow time to enjoy the meal, as service focuses on quality preparation rather than quick turnaround.
The restaurant features a distinctive diamond-shaped mirrored ceiling that plays with light and creates an unexpected visual effect. A music curator called Specter works behind the scenes to create a specific soundscape that complements the dining experience.
