Boulderwelt München Ost opened in 2019 after moving from a smaller location, doubling its size and creating a modern climbing hall with rooftop views over Munich, transforming the local climbing scene in the city.
The café brings together climbers, families, and friends in a social setting where people gather to share stories, cheer each other on, and enjoy regional products from local suppliers, creating a friendly community atmosphere that goes beyond sport.
The café is open daily from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM, located at Hanne-Hiob-Straße 4 in a quiet eastern part of Munich, easily accessible by public transport or car, with no climbing ticket required to visit the café and rooftop bar.
The rooftop terrace on the fifth floor offers a view over Munich, the Werksviertel district, the Ferris wheel, and even the Alps on clear days, making it a perfect spot to unwind with a drink while watching climbers or simply enjoying the sunset.
