Das Kartoffelmuseum, Potato museum in Munich, Germany.

The museum features eight exhibition rooms displaying paintings, engravings, drawings, and artifacts related to potato cultivation and consumption throughout history.

Founded by Otto Eckart in 1996 following the sale of Pfanni food manufacturing company to Unilever, the museum occupied the former factory grounds.

The exhibits present potato-related artworks including oil paintings, watercolors, and glass paintings that demonstrate the vegetable's influence on artistic expression.

Located at Grafinger Strasse 2, the museum operated Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM with wheelchair accessible facilities.

The collection includes a reproduction of Marilyn Monroe's photograph in a potato field wearing a burlap dress, connecting celebrity culture with agriculture.
