San Diego Mission Bay Resort
San Diego Mission Bay Resort is a waterfront hotel on Mission Bay in San Diego, California. Rooms come with patios or balconies facing the bay, the garden, or the resort grounds, and some ground-floor units have their own outdoor firepit.
The property formerly operated as the Hilton San Diego Resort & Spa before joining Noble House Hotels & Resorts. Over the years, guest rooms and shared spaces have been updated, while the setting on Mission Bay has remained the same.
The name comes from Mission Bay, a large body of water that locals use for sailing, kayaking, and picnicking throughout the year. In the evening, guests tend to gather around the outdoor firepits, giving the place a sociable, informal feel.
The hotel is close to SeaWorld, the zoo, and Old Town, so day trips are easy to plan from here. A bike path runs along the bay directly from the property, making it simple to walk or cycle without needing a car.
The resort has dedicated pickleball courts, which is not something you often find at a bay-front property. The sport, a mix of tennis, table tennis, and badminton, is easy to pick up and draws players of different ages and skill levels.
