Australian Age of Dinosaurs Museum of Natural History

David and Judy Elliott established this scientific institution in 2002 following the discovery of significant dinosaur fossils in the Winton Formation during 1999.

The museum maintains the largest collection of Australian dinosaur fossils, including specimens like Diamantinasaurus matildae and Australovenator wintonensis, advancing paleontological research.

The facility operates daily from April to October with guided tours starting at 9 AM, offering fossil preparation demonstrations and access to collection rooms.

The museum location earned recognition as Australia's first International Dark-Sky Sanctuary in 2019, enabling astronomical observations through the Gondwana Stars Observatory.
