The wooden church structure features a gabled corrugated iron roof, silky oak finishes, and traditional architectural elements typical of Australian religious buildings.
The church, constructed in 1909 by Mr. Moore of Hughenden, became an integral part of Richmond's development during the sheep and cattle grazing expansion.
The interior displays memorial boards and stained glass windows that document the contributions of local families to the religious life of Richmond.
Regular services take place in this Queensland Heritage Register listed building, which stands on Crawford Street in the center of Richmond.
The church began its services in a dance hall connected to a hotel before the construction of the current building through community donations.
