The last Khedive of Egypt commissioned this building as a summer residence in 1907 to strengthen diplomatic ties between the Ottoman Empire and Egypt. It represents a period when the two nations shared close political and cultural connections.
The interior walls display carved decorations of fruits, flowers, and hunting scenes that blend European artistic elements with Ottoman design traditions. Walking through the rooms, you see how two different artistic worlds came together in a single space.
