Air Force and Air Defence Museum

The Air Force and Air Defence Museum is a military aviation museum in Hanoi that displays aircraft and air defense systems from different periods. The indoor exhibition space features a symbolic dome representing Vietnamese skies, with galleries dedicated to military aviation achievements and technical innovations.

The museum is open on weekdays and Saturdays in two separate time slots, allowing visitors to plan their visit with some flexibility. It is advisable to check current opening hours in advance and allow enough time to explore the extensive collection thoroughly.

The outdoor area features original military equipment, including a 37mm anti-aircraft gun that played a key role in early air combat encounters. These artifacts show concretely what weapons and technologies the country used to defend itself during critical moments in its history.
