Museo de la Muñeca Artesanal, Art museum in Amealco de Bonfil, Mexico
The museum displays more than 400 handmade dolls in several exhibition halls, including traditional Lele dolls, pottery pieces, and textile works.
The museum opened in 2014 to mark the Second National Festival of Artisan Dolls, establishing a permanent space for Mexican doll craftsmanship.
The museum features the Lele and Dönxu dolls, which received recognition as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Querétaro State in April 2018.
Located in the historic center next to the main square, the museum organizes an annual festival in November with prizes ranging from 5,000 to 38,000 pesos.
The collection includes dolls measuring from 2 centimeters to 2 meters tall, created by artisans from ten different Mexican states.
