Carrisiland Resort, Water park and resort in Cellino San Marco, Italy
Carrisiland Resort is a hotel and water park in Cellino San Marco, in the Puglia region of southern Italy. The property is divided into several themed areas with pools, water slides, and dry attractions that together make up a full-day destination for families.
The resort was founded by Al Bano Carrisi, a well-known Italian singer born in Cellino San Marco, on his family's land. It started as an agritourism project and grew over the years into a full leisure complex as new attractions were added.
The resort includes a working educational farm where visitors can see animals and old farming tools typical of the Puglia countryside. Children can walk through the farm area and get a direct look at how rural life in this part of southern Italy has traditionally been organized.
The park is open mainly during summer, so most attractions are only available in the warmer months. Getting there early in the day makes it easier to find a good spot near the pools and to enjoy the slides without long waits.
One section of the park features life-size dinosaur replicas placed along wooded paths, which visitors can walk through separately from the water areas. This dry zone is aimed mainly at younger children and sits at the edge of the property, making it easy to miss if you head straight for the pools.
