Kitchen Ter, Modern restaurant in 5th arrondissement, Paris, France
Kitchen Ter(re) is a restaurant in the 5th arrondissement serving creative pasta dishes made from specialty flours derived from ancient grain varieties, paired with Asian-inspired sauces and fresh herbs. The menu focuses on experimenting with traditional pasta forms combined with contemporary cooking techniques.
The establishment opened in 2017 as William Ledeuil's third venture, building on the success of his earlier restaurants Ze Kitchen Galerie and KGB. This opening represented a continuation of his exploration into creative French-Asian cuisine.
The dining space features artworks from the 1950s alongside electric blue seating and terrazzo tables, creating a setting where art and modern design coexist. Walking through, you notice how these elements work together to shape the overall feel of the place.
The place is situated on Boulevard Saint-Germain in an easy-to-reach location near the Latin Quarter. Reserving a table in advance is recommended, as seating is limited and the restaurant operates only on select evenings.
The head chef Julien Jéquier creates dishes using six distinct pasta varieties made from specialty flours specifically developed through collaboration with farmer Roland Feuillas. Each pasta type brings different textures and flavors to the dishes served.
