Il Cantiere
Il Cantiere is a restaurant and art gallery in Villorba housed in a former industrial building with high ceilings and exposed brick walls. The roughly 400 square meter space is divided into several areas: a main dining area, a Tiki Bar with Hawaiian design, a Whiskey Room styled like the 1920s, and vintage seating areas.
The location was originally an Aprilia factory in Treviso and stood empty for nearly 15 years before being transformed into a restaurant and art gallery by three friends in 2018. During renovation, the original industrial character was preserved and enriched with modern elements.
The name Il Cantiere refers to a construction site and symbolizes the transformation of an old industrial space into a new gathering place. The venue is frequented by artists, curious visitors, and friends who come to discover contemporary artworks while enjoying food and drinks.
The venue is open throughout the day offering lunch, dinner, or just drinks, with a summer outdoor area featuring a colorful garden and Tiki Bar. The Whiskey Room can be booked in advance for a private setting suited to meetings or relaxed evenings.
The artworks in the space change their appearance depending on the time of day and lighting conditions, offering different visual impressions with each visit. Many of the displayed pieces are for sale and can be taken home as lasting memories of a special visit.
