Museo Torres Bicentenario, Contemporary art museum in Toluca, Mexico
The Torres Bicentenario museum presents paintings, engravings, and sculptures by Mexican artists across multiple exhibition halls in a modern building complex.
The museum opened its doors in November 2010 as part of a renovation project to commemorate the 200th anniversary of Mexican independence.
The main exhibition hall displays works from notable Mexican creators including Francisco Toledo, Vicente Rojo, and Gilberto Aceves, representing regional artistic expressions.
Located on Avenida José María Morelos, the museum operates Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM and offers free admission to all visitors.
The museum houses the Castálida bookstore of the State Public Administration Editorial Council and a Casart store selling regional Mexican folk art.
