Exquisito!, Latin American restaurant in Pinheiros District, Brazil
Exquisito sits at the corner of Artur de Azevedo and Cunha Gago streets and serves Latin American cuisine with outdoor seating throughout the space. Roll-up doors open to the street, allowing air circulation and creating an informal dining environment where guests can enjoy dishes like chili con carne and anticuchos.
The restaurant operated for 15 years on Bela Cintra street before pandemic shutdowns prompted a relocation to the Pinheiros District in 2021. This move allowed the space to reopen with a redesigned layout better suited to the neighborhood.
A wall panel from the Brazilian film Bye Bye Brasil, created by artist Ling Hu Cheng, serves as a focal point of the interior and reflects the connection between cinema and dining culture. This artwork brings a sense of storytelling to the space.
The restaurant opens for dinner from Tuesday through Sunday and accepts online reservations to secure a table. Booking in advance is recommended, especially on weekends when demand is higher.
Behind the bar, award-winning bartender Thatta Kimura crafts cocktails with Colombian and Cuban influences using quality spirits and fresh ingredients. The drink program also features Peruvian Cusqueña beers and locally produced craft beers that complement the food.
