Adrasan Bay

Adrasan Bay is a sandy Mediterranean beach near Kumluca that extends along shallow, clear waters. Pine forests and mountains of the Taurus range form a natural backdrop behind the beach.

The region was part of ancient Lycia, an important civilization on the southern coast. Remains from that era, including structures and tombs, are scattered in the nearby hills.

Small fishing boats rest in the bay, with daily catches sold to beachfront restaurants by local families. This working rhythm gives the place a genuine character that visitors can witness throughout the day.

The beach is reached by buses from Antalya to Kumluca, then by local minibus for the final leg, which takes longer than the main route. Bring water and sun protection, especially during hot months, and check schedules in advance.

The beach marks the starting point of the Lycian Way, a long-distance hiking trail that links ancient ruins with mountain paths. Many visitors combine a beach day with a short walk to nearby archaeological sites.
