Mount Tahtali

Mount Tahtali is a summit near the Mediterranean coast standing at approximately 2,366 meters and forms the highest peak within the Beydaglari Coastal National Park. An aerial tram carries visitors to the top in just minutes, revealing views of the coastline and the mountain ranges stretching inland.

Ancient peoples of the region called this mountain Olympus and associated it with divine powers, keeping this connection alive through centuries of local tradition. Its modern name comes from Turkish words referring to wooden panels or a throne.
