Angels sculptures, Monumental sculpture at Bass Performance Hall in Fort Worth, United States.
Two limestone angels measuring 48 feet in height stand on the facade of Bass Performance Hall, with extended wings and golden horns projecting over the street.
The angel sculptures were installed in 1998 as part of Bass Performance Hall's construction, marking a new chapter in Fort Worth's performing arts development.
Sculptor Marton Varo created these pieces to complement the building's architecture, choosing a design that emphasizes the connection between art and performance.
Visitors can observe the detailed craftsmanship of the angels from the third-floor balcony of Bass Hall or from street level on East 4th Street.
Each 15-ton angel sculpture conceals air conditioning equipment within its structure while maintaining their architectural grandeur and symmetrical positioning.
