Iboat, River bar in Bassins à Flot, Bordeaux, France
Iboat is a bar and venue set inside a converted ferry boat with three levels at Bassins à Flot in Bordeaux. The space combines drinking, dining, and entertainment in a repurposed transport vessel.
The boat started as a ferry carrying passengers between mainland France and Île d'Yeu before its conversion. In 2011 it became an entertainment venue and has remained so ever since.
The place draws performing artists from many genres and hosts concerts, DJ sets, and outdoor film nights regularly. Visitors experience a rotating calendar of live music and artistic performances throughout the year.
The venue is open from Tuesday through Sunday with food service and seating spread across multiple levels and outdoor areas. The large dock terrace is a good spot to spend time when weather permits and offers views of the water.
The boat features a large dock terrace of about 1000 square meters with direct views of the wet dock below. This expansive outdoor space hosts seasonal activities and allows visitors to enjoy the venue in the open air.
