Plage des Bourdaines

Plage des Bourdaines is a beach on the Atlantic coast south of Seignosse resort, where long stretches of sand and natural dunes line the shoreline. The area is framed by native vegetation and forms a natural setting for swimmers and water sports enthusiasts.

The beach became a recreational destination during the expansion of Seignosse's coastal infrastructure in the latter half of the 20th century. This development brought modern facilities and made the location easily accessible to visitors.

The beach is a gathering place for surfers, with multiple schools teaching year-round for beginners and experienced riders alike. The local surf culture shapes daily activity on the water and makes this spot a center for the sport.

The beach offers lifeguard services, showers, toilets, and a large free parking area accessible via Avenue des Tucs from the D79 road. All facilities are clearly marked and make a visit comfortable for families and individual visitors.

Despite its proximity to Seignosse resort, this beach attracts fewer visitors than neighboring coastal areas during summer months. This lower crowding makes it a less busy spot for those wanting to escape the rush.
