Plage de Saint-Laurent d'Èze is a pebbled beach nestled between two rocky promontories and framed by tall pine trees. The cove is small and sheltered, with transparent water suitable for swimming.
The cove sits below the medieval village of Èze, whose residents have monitored the coastline since the 12th century. This isolated location and proximity to the sea shaped the area's history for centuries.
Fishermen have used this beach as a base for their work across generations, and their boats shape the cove's appearance during early morning hours.
Access to the beach involves descending a wooded path with stairs. Parking is available near the tunnel on road M6098, making it a short walk from the car to the shore.
A natural spring emerges near the beach entrance and feeds fresh water into the salt cove. The railway tunnel also passes directly beneath the shore and is visible from the central beach area.
