The beach sits near the ancient Fort de Brégançon, which has served as a military stronghold since Roman times and now functions as a presidential residence.

Local fishermen maintain traditional practices along this stretch of coastline, setting out their boats from the small private port at the beach's edge.

Visitors can access the beach via a concrete path from a free parking area that accommodates over 100 vehicles, though the walk extends beyond 1000 meters.

The beach maintains a natural character with sections designated for naturist activities, bordered by dense pine forests and featuring multiple rocky passages.
