Villa La Reine Jeanne, Rationalist villa in Bormes-les-Mimosas, France.

The Villa La Reine Jeanne stands on a 70-hectare estate near Fort de Brégançon, featuring clean lines and modernist architectural elements throughout its structure.

American architect Barry Dierks designed this coastal residence in 1928 for French industrialist Paul-Louis Weiller, a distinguished World War I aviation hero.

Elizabeth Taylor, Charlie Chaplin, Richard Nixon, and King Juan Carlos of Spain counted among the numerous distinguished guests who stayed at this Mediterranean property.

Each room within the villa follows a specific layout that maximizes natural light according to different times of day through strategic window placement.

The villa received its name from Queen Joanna I of Naples, who landed on the adjacent beach in 1347 during her journey through Provence.
