The beach extends for several hundred meters along the coast, featuring both coarse sand in the western section and fine sand in the eastern area.
The beach area developed alongside Port Grimaud's construction in the 1960s, when architect François Spoerry designed this waterfront community near Saint-Tropez.
The beachfront restaurants serve regional Mediterranean dishes, including fresh seafood caught daily by local fishermen who dock their boats in the nearby port.
Visitors can access the beach from the paid parking area on Quai des Fossés, with facilities including showers, lifeguard stations, and designated swimming zones.
The beach combines natural coastline with direct views of Saint-Tropez across the water, while connecting to a network of Venetian-style canals.
